There are reports of some construction workers feeding Tahoe bears.

Please Do Not Feed Any Bears. It is a death sentence for them and a  $1,000.00 fine for you.

Take all food scraps and wrappings home with you each day.

Do not place garbage in the bins or dumpsters at the job site.

If bears approach the site during the day, scare them off with yells or throwing things at them. Let them know that they are not welcome close to people and homes.

They may walk by at a respectable distance. They share this area with us, but must not learn to become dependent on us for food.
